The party for the 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS is underway as Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Pistol Annies and Taylor Swift are set to perform during this year’s live show. Hosted by Jason Aldean and Kristen Bell, country music’s first fan-voted awards show will broadcast from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. Additional performers, along with presenters will be announced in coming weeks.

Tickets for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field are sold out a record-setting six weeks in advance of the 2013 CMA Music Festival! Demand for four-day ticket packages means single night tickets will not be available for LP Field concerts, CMA announced today.

The 2013 Billboard Music Award Nominations were announced this morning and country music is well represented. Taylor Swift picks up 11 nominations between the country categories and all-genre categories, and Jason Aldean secures 3 nominations, including Top Male Artist in the all-genre category. Country Newcomers Florida Georgia Line also pick up a Billboard Music Award Nomination for Top Country Song with their hit single “Cruise.” See a complete list of country artist nominations below.
MTV/CMT/VH1 announced this morning that three-time Grammy nominated emerging superstar Hunter Hayes (HunterHayes.MTV.com) will take part in MTV’s Artist to Watch Live series and campaign. The concert will be livestreamed on June 18th from New York’s iconic Webster Hall on MTV.com with select performances then made available for on-demand viewing on Artists.CMT.
