The King of Country Music, George Strait, has a lot to celebrate today! Not only is he celebrating his 61st birthday, but he also made history by earning his 60th No.1 single with “Give It All We Got Tonight.” The new single can be found on his brand new album, Love Is Everything, available in stores now as well as iTunes by clicking HERE.
George Strait has a Birthday App, where you can send a message to the King of Country Music, as he turns 61 on Saturday (May 18th). You can find it on Facebook HERE, and it also allows you to call in and record a congratulations message for what will hopefully be his 60th No. 1 single with “Give It All We Got Tonight.”
George Strait releases Love Is Everything, his 40th album on MCA Nashville, today, Tuesday, May 14, available at all physical and digital retailers. Love Is Everything features Strait’s current hit “Give It All We Got Tonight” written by Mark Bright, Tim James and Phil O’Donnell. The song is poised to be the country patriarch’s 60th career No. 1, an accomplishment no artist except the 60-year old Strait has come closing to achieving.

The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions announced today that George Strait and Garth Brooks, the two most recent ACM Artist of the Decade Award recipients, will perform together for the first time in history to pay tribute to Dick Clark at the 48th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 7 (8:00 PM-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
