Gary Allan is starting to hit the airwaves with his new single, “Hangover Tonight,” a song he co-wrote with Chris Stapleton, Jesse Frasure and Carey Barlowe. The song is the first release from his forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album – the follow-up to the hit album, Set You Free, which included the No. 1 tune, “Every Storm Runs Out of Rain.”

Gary Allan has been working on his new album, the follow-up to his 2013 outing, Set You Free. On the project, he worked with producers working with producers Mark Wright (Brooks & DunnLee Ann Womack), Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Cage the Elephant) and co-produced seven tracks with Greg Droman (Get Off On The Pain). This time, he says it will be a little different.

It’s hard to believe that 2013 is coming to a close. It was a huge year in country music, specifically with all the new music that was released.  Once again, we have listed our top albums for the year.  This was no easy task as there have been so many stellar releases throughout the year.  We are definitely looking forward to the new music that is ahead in 2014, but let’s take some time and reflect back on this past year, and recognize some of the music that has stamped our lives.

Gary Allan released his new video for latest single, “It Ain’t the Whiskey.” Of the music video Allan shared, “It was a lot of fun to shoot. We shot it in Nashville, and I believe if the story is right, the building was like a Confederate hospital. It’s really cool,” says Gary. “It’s a church now, and it’s got like artist lofts above it. I was able to get the band in there…I think you guys are gonna like it.”
