Sugarland Performing Two Songs on “Dancing With The Stars The Results Show’ March 27

Grammy Award-winning duo Sugarland will perform two songs on tomorrow nights season premiere episode of ‘Dancing with the Stars the Results Show’ at 9pm ET on the ABC Television Network. Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will first perform, “Run” with singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson and later Sugarland will return to the stage to sing the infectious “Find The Beat Again” off of their current album The Incredible Machine.

Sugarland will kick-off their sixth consecutive headlining tour entitled “In Your Hands” April 5^th in Toledo, OH.

It was announced today that ABC will launch a brand new music competition, “Duets,” starring Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke.

“Duets” will take Jennifer, Kelly, Lionel and Robin out of the judges panel and onto the stage. They will each choose two singers to be their duet partners. Together, they will take the stage with their duet partner each week and perform in front of a live studio audience.

At the end, only one duet will be at the top of the charts and the winning amateur will receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records. Look for “Duets” to premiere this summer!

Reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Sugarland will launch their sixth consecutive headlining tour entitled “IN THE HANDS OF THE FANS” this April. The tour will rely solely on fan interaction and requests to determine the set list played in each city. Specific guidelines and instructions coming soon on www.sugarlandmusic.com.

The 25+ dates will feature openers Lauren Alaina and Canaan Smith (in select cities).

“This year’s tour is based around the concept of putting the show into the hands of the fans,” said Nettles. “THEY will make the requests that will help form the set list and guide the show. Through texts, handwritten signs, the Internet (Twitter, Facebook, etc) phone calls made during the show and selections directly from the stage, the fans will become the conductors as well as the audience. If it’s on one of our records or if we’ve played it on a stage it is fair game.”

Sugarland’s Grammy-winning lead vocalist Jennifer Nettles pairs with Pepsi MAX for a brand new 30-second spot that will debut during Super Bowl XLVI.

The brand has long been known for featuring great music as part of its Super Bowl ads and tapped Nettles to record a renowned country ballad that will accompany the spot.

The Pepsi MAX commercial entitled “Check-Out” is the newest edition to the brand’s playful Cola Wars campaign. Also featured in the commercial will be entertainment icon Regis Philbin.

Sugarland is in Norway preparing for the annual Nobel Peace Prize concert this weekend, and to celebrate, here’s a video from the last time they braved the icy climates across the pond: It’s “Every Girl Like Me,” performed acoustically as Jennifer and Kristian wandered the streets of London in a taxicab this past February.

The pair have been dating for over two years and wed on Saturday, November 26 in a small, sunset ceremony in Tennessee in front of close family & friends including the other half of Sugarland, Kristian Bush.
