American Country Award Nominee Craig Campbell is getting ready for Christmas and taking a moment to give back as he releases the holiday classic, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”.  Produced by Keith Stegall, the song is heartfelt and timely as our nation’s troops continue to make their way home.  Starting today, fans can download the song HERE and support a worthy cause, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project™. 

“’I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs and being on the road a lot makes this song mean that much more to me”.  Campbell continues, “I am so proud to support the Wounded Warrior Project™ so that a portion of the proceeds benefit those soldiers making their way stateside and will be home this Christmas. They are the true heroes of our time”.

In addition, Campbell recently filmed a music video for “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. The clip features footage of our American soldiers returning home in addition to video of Craig celebrating the holiday with wife Mindy and two young daughters, Preslee and Kinni Rose. The second annual AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Jason Aldean and Zac Brown Band lead the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS nominees with eight nominations each; Thompson Square earned seven nods; and The Band Perry and Taylor Swift each garnered six.

Starting today, fans can vote once each day for their favorite AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS nominees at www.theacas.com. Voting is open until Friday, Nov. 11 for all categories, except for Artist of the Year, which closes on Friday, Dec. 2. The nominees for each award category have been determined by four media measurement companies: BigChampagne (record sales and media consumption); Great American Country (video airplay); Mediabase (radio airplay); and Pollstar (touring data).

Hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth, the two-hour live music spectacular is the only country music awards show that gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories but also in previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors that no other awards show has.

The AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS will feature performances and appearances by the year’s chart-topping country artists. Performers and presenters will be announced soon.

It’s a fishing frenzy for Bigger Picture Group recording artist Craig Campbell on the set of the music video for his latest single, “Fish.”   Campbell is joined by Mariko Izumi, World Fishing Network star and host of “Hookin’ Up With Mariko Izumi,” who plays his love interest in the playful new video.

Directed by Wes Edwards/Ruckus Films (Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Trace Adkins), the video was shot in late May on a beautiful piece of property just outside of Nashville.

The “Fish” music video premiered on CMT.com on July 11 and Great American Country (GAC) starting July 12. It can also be caught on other online and TV outlets in the coming days.

“Fish” is the second single from Campbell’s recently released self-titled debut album, which posted the biggest first week sales from any new male country artist out this year.  The new song has seen a tremendous surge in digital downloads since going for airplay, increasing more than 1000% since its release.
