CMR is shining its spotlight on Blake Shelton and his new single “Honey Bee” as the new single is creating quite the buzzzz!!! Shelton introduced his new single with his first live performance of the new song at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards and ever since then the country music world has been buzzing about his new single. “Honey Bee” is already impacting country radio and is already in the Top 40 on the MediaBase Charts. The single was released to iTunes last Tuesday, April 5th, and the new infectious single skyrocketed to #1 on the iTunes Country Chart and #3 on the iTunes Overall Chart!!!

“Honey Bee” is a fun, catchy tune that you will want to be stung by over & over. You can’t help but push “repeat” once the song is over just to hear it again. It’s a great song of a guy trying to tell a girl his true feelings, but just can’t come out with the right words. In the end, he finds the words “I Love You” but it was so much sweeter to hear him sing of how the two fit together so perfectly. Hmmm… I wonder if Blake will include a few lines from the song in his wedding vows…
