On the heels of a No. one album debut, two-time ACM “Male Vocalist of the Year” Jason Aldean is releasing “Just Gettin’ Started” as the latest single off his sixth studio album OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT. The track officially went for adds yesterday with 70 stations already on board.

Known for his driving beats and big guitar sound, the song “stands out as new territory” (Rolling Stone) and follows his two-chart, multi-week No. one smash hit and the fastest selling country single of 2014 “Burnin’ It Down.”

“When we released the lead single from this album, I think everybody was scratching their heads a little bit and wondering what the rest of the songs would sound like,” Aldean said. “This is a great follow-up to ‘Burnin’ It Down’ because it’s probably more familiar to those fans who love that bigger rock guitar sound we do a lot. This will be a fun one to put in the set list, and I love the lyric, ‘already having the time of our lives, but we’re just gettin’ started.’ It sets the tone for a great night out at a concert!”

The stadium headliner has taken 14 trips to No. one and recently marked 10 million in career album sales. The career benchmark follows the announcement of the second leg of his previously sold out BURN IT DOWN TOUR, which will kick off in Feb. 2015 for the 23-city run. Each of Aldean’s albums has been certified PLATINUM and he has been officially recognized as the top digital male country artist in history with over 21.5 million in digital sales.
