Country superstar Jason Aldean is now engaged to former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. Aldean’s rep confirmed the news exclusively with US Weekly.
It appears that the couple celebrated their engagement at the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday, 9/24. Aldean and Kerr made their first red carpet appearance in June at the 2014 CMT Music Awards.
UPDATE: While it appears that initial reports indicated that the couple got engaged while visiting the San Diego Zoo, Brittany Kerr shared with fans via instagram that was not the case.
