It was announced today that Glen Campbell has been moved into a care facility. Over the past three years Campbell, 78, has been battling the Alzhemier’s disease.
A family friend shared with PEOPLE, “He was moved to an Alzhemier’s facility last week. “I’m not sure what the permanent plan is for him yet. We’ll know more next week.” Read more from PEOPLE here.

Glen Campbell, will remain among the last of the perfection masters of American music . He will not be remembered for having this insidious disease called Alzheimer’s, he will be applauded for generations to come as a class entertainer who knew who he was and what he demanded of himself, perfection !
