Superstar Carrie Underwood storms the charts this week as her latest single, “Blown Away,” claims the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase country airplay charts giving Carrie her 16th No. 1 single. “Blown Away,” the title-track off Carrie’s latest album was certified Platinum this week by the RIAA becoming her 11th Platinum or Multi-Platinum digital single to sell more than 1 million digital downloads.

The video for “Blown Away” has spent an impressive 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on GAC’s “Top 20 Countdown” show since its debut in August.

Carrie launched the North American portion of her third headline arena tour, “The Blown Away Tour,” last month to packed arenas.

Carrie is nominated for Female Vocalist at “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” which airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network. Carrie will also return to host the show with Brad Paisley for a fifth time this year.
