Curb recording artist Rodney Atkins will partake in the inaugural American Giving Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. airing tomorrow, Saturday, December 10that 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC. The audience will be gathered at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to find out which five charities will be chosen to receive additional funds from Chase Community Giving (CCG). Of the 100 charities selected to receive grants this year from CCG, advocates then voted online for their cause to receive additional monetary support. There will be an awarded charity in five categories – Educators & Mentors Award, Heroes & Leaders Award, Champions of Health & Wellness Award, Community Builders Award, and Youth Developers Award – and of those five, only one will score the $1M grant.
Other featured guests are Miley Cyrus, motivational speaker J.R. Martinez, Will.i.am, Jesse Tyler Ferguson of NBC’s “Modern Family,” Colin Farrell, and the event will be hosted by Bob Costas.
