Gloriana was named by Billboard Magazine as one of the Top Country Artists – Duo/Group for 2010 in Billboard’s special year-end double issue, The Year In Music. Gloriana rounds out the list of 10 Duos or Groups who have made a major impact in country music this year including Brooks & Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and the Zac Brown Band.
Gloriana has had a successful 2010 with an R.I.A.A. certified Gold single “Wild At Heart,” Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Vocal Group and nominations at the CMT Awards and Teen Choice Awards. The foursome took their music on the road in 2010 opening for Taylor Swift on her FEARLESS Tour, headlining major fairs and festivals across the country as well as traveling overseas to the Middle East and Europe to perform for the men and women serving in the Army and Navy. Gloriana was also featured on the AT&T Team USA soundtrack for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and recently performed during the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC.
Gloriana is currently working on their forthcoming second studio album with GRAMMY Award winner and Emblem Music Group label owner Matt Serletic (Aerosmith, Willie Nelson and Rob Thomas). The group is ready to kick off the new year with the release of the album’s first single in early 2011 and are excited to get new music into the hands of country radio and fans alike.
